National Frog Fest 2024 is a new, annual event intended to grow and strengthen the captive frog community through trade, education and social engagement.

Amelia Gardner of Josh's Frogs
Graduating in 2020 Amelia Gardner earned a BS in zoology from Michigan State University where she was President of the MSU Herpetology Club. While attending university Amelia also completed zoological internships with large mammals and reptiles. In June 2021 Amelia began her career at Josh's Frogs where she works in the Tree Frog and Toad Department.
Amelia will be speaking on Unique Reproductive Strategies specifically relation to amphibians.
Tim Herman of Indoor Ecosystems
Tim Herman served as a herpetologist at the Toledo Zoo for 14 years with a primary interest in the husbandry and reproduction of Plethodontid Salamanders and the recovery and reintroduction of the Kihansi Spray Toad. Tim has been an instructor with AZA and Amphibian Ark Training since 2006.
While working at the zoo Tim started his business Indoor Ecosystems where he imports and distributes frogs in the US for Wikiri and Understory Enterprises, breeds Plethodontid Salamanders as well as propagating coral. Tim will be speaking about the husbandry and reproduction of Plethodontid Salamanders.
